During this session participants will self-diagnose their strengths and areas for improvement in relation to data literacy and data use. Based on this reflection, they will be able to work with their schools / districts on data literacy initiatives and access resources to support implementation. Sharing among attendees will be encouraged and available resources with be recommended.
Attendees will: 1) understand an operational definition of data literacy, 2) reflect on their utilization of data as a leader, 3) share how data is being used in their LEA and 4) identify next steps while being made aware of available resources to support their needs.
This workshop is provided by the ADE, Education Regional Centers and County Superintendent offices as a collaborative effort to meet the data literacy needs in schools.
Audience: School leaders, principals, district office staff, RTI directors, PD directors, etc.
