LEADNow! Leadership Institute recognizes that the most important change agents in education are school leaders! This Institute was created to support new and aspiring educational leaders in Southern Arizona in partnership with Arizona Educational Foundation (AEF), Northern Arizona University and the Pima County School Superintendent’s Office.

Through the LEADNow! Leadership Institute, individuals will acquire skills and applications essential to becoming an effective educational leader. Learners will gain enhanced understanding and the ability to apply professional practice, concepts and values in leadership and policy.

The LEADNow! Leadership Institute is a research and evidence-based curriculum that is delivered locally through the Pima County School Superintendent’s Office in a cohort model and based on the Professional Standards for Educational Leaders 2015 developed by the Council of Chief State School Officers. Participants will attend nine monthly Saturday classes that will focus on team building, leadership skills, goal setting and more. All participants will be mentored by an AEF A+ School of Excellence™ principal and have the opportunity to visit an AEF A+ School of Excellence™ site. Students may earn re-certification hours and/or earn NAU graduate credit (with concurrent enrollment).

Cost: $1000 Scholarship and group rates are available

Payment Policy
Payments must be received five (5) business days prior to the start of the class.  Payments can be in the form of a check, credit card, P-Card, or a school purchase order. Registrations within the five (5) day window must be paid immediately upon registering for the course. 

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations must be submitted in writing five (5) business days prior to the start of the class to receive a refund.  No refunds will be given for “no shows.”  If courses are cancelled due to low enrollment, refunds will be issued to the individual or the school.
