
We know from research that trauma impacts a child’s ability to learn and develop. Attend this two day event to explore and discuss how you and your team can become trauma sensitive and address the complexities of childhood trauma in your school.
Breakout sessions will focus on three areas:
- The Science of Trauma and Resilience
- Understanding Behaviors and Building Support
- Self-Care

This summer institute is put on by SHIP, which is a partnership between the Office of the Pima County School Superintendent and the Pima County Health Department.

Payments must be received five (5) business days prior to the start of the class. Payments can be in the form of a check, credit card, P-Card, or a school purchase order.
